Create essential digital tools that inspire, delight, and conjure whimsy for millions of couples going through the happiest (and most complex) times in their lives…and, grow your career amidst an incredibly supportive and well-organized bunch of design colleagues and leadership where learning and education rule the day.
We're seeking a Fulltime Senior Product Designer with commerce-related design experience (cross platform - native mobile and responsive web) and who leans towards the Visual side of the UX/Visual spectrum. That said, there’s plenty of room for your UX + strategy skills (this is more "tools" oriented than "editorial" oriented)... and a User Research background is a plus if you've got it, and you'll be constantly talking to users directly, but they will train if you don't. It’s a culture of learning and personal attention to get you to where you personally want to go in your career.
Your book includes at least 2-3 case studies, and has a good representation of both web + mobile app work (you'll be doing approx 50/50). Your work ideally has a lifestyle or fashion slant, and you’ve got the ability to create pixel-perfect, complex, fun to use tools from scratch.
Our client is a 500-person, established company with a multi-squad design team - design thinking and collaboration with other designers, Product, and Dev, is the name of the game here. They have an established, organized process and structure, and they’ve successfully transformed their entire company from a media company to product / tools company because of its incredible visionary leadership and the invaluable teams they’ve nurtured and grown.
They operate VERY much as a highly Agile, rockin' startup at the heart of it, where innovative thought is encouraged. Indeed, their Head of Design is a longtime client of ours who’s beloved by the dozens of people who have had him as a boss. You'll be learning from, and working with, the best.
You'll enjoy excellent benefits, including unlimited PTO, 401K, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, an educational stipend, guest speakers and learning events, volunteering opportunities, and a mentorship program. It's a culture of developing people, with lots of attention to the happiness of their employees. Indeed - their internal colleague satisfaction survey is overwhelmingly positive, and they have very little turnover - the proof is in the pudding, as they say.
